What is the first step to becoming certified?
Check the date on your LPC license to ensure you meet the required 3 year minimum. If your LPC license issue date is at least three years to the date you plan to apply, next step is taking the supervision training. The LAPC license does not count towards the 3 years.
I am new to Georgia, what steps do I have to complete?

What are the CE requirements for CCALP's CPCS Certification Program?
Supervisor training must be 30 hours AND all from the same trainer. The supervision training has very specific CE workshop requirements. Attend workshops that have LPCA approval for the certification you are interested in. (Keep in mind these hours will also count toward your 35 required hours for your licensure hours.)

What are the qualifications for approved CEs?
Must be approved by LPCA.
Where do I take my CPCS exam?
The CPCS exam is an online exam. Candidates must pass the exam with an 85% or higher.
Does my application have to be completed, including CEs and Exam score, before becoming certified?
Yes. If your application is missing CE certificates, information, and or exam score, the system will not let a 'Reviewer" see incomplete applications. Application fees are non-refundable, so be sure your application is accurate prior to submission.
