CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR SUPERVISOR (CPCS)

A truly competent clinical supervisor must go beyond just understanding mental health counseling—they must also master the delicate balance of client service and trainee development. It’s not enough to grasp how these domains intertwine; a skilled supervisor must also have a strong command of state laws, regulations, and the intricate rules that govern our field.

Now, more than ever, it’s up to us to step up and actively mentor those just beginning their journey in counseling.  You have a unique opportunity, and an essential responsibility to influence the future of our profession.   As a CPCS you will lead and inspire the next wave of counselors to understand that professionalism isn’t merely a set of technical skills or an intellectual exercise - it’s a way of life!
