TeleSupervision ATS


Requirements to become an Approved Tele-Supervisor, ATS Certification

  1. Must be licensed at the highest level of your discipline for a minimum of 3 years.
  2. License must be in good standing.
  3. Must be an active supervisor in your respective discipline for a minimum of 2 years. 
  4. Maintain an active CPCS certification, the Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS)
  5. Must have completed the proprietary LPCA training 
  6. Pass the National Tele-Supervision exam
  7. Complete the ATS application.
  8. Pay respective fee
  9. ATS certification good for 3 years

Steps to ATS Re-Certification

  1. Complete the required training
  2. Pass the National Tele-Supervision exam
  3. Complete the ATS application
  4. Pay respective fee

There are no exceptions or exemptions for the Approved Tele-Supervisor Certification.
