Clinical Supervisor Continuing Education Providers
CCALP does not issue CE approvals. The Board of Directors provides an option for those Trainers who do not have LPCA CE approval for their workshops/training of Supervisors. CPCS certification process will accept LPCA CE approved workshops and/or the Board Approved Credential Training Provider, CTP issued by CCALP.
The Trainer must have been “approved” as providing trainings for at least five (5) years. Example: If a person does not have an LPCA CE approval number, but does have an NBCC/ACEP number and/or CE Broker they may apply for the Board Approved Credential Training Provider, (CTP).
NOT accepted AAMFT, APA, ASWB, Addiction Approval (such as NAADAC, GACA, etc.), SW, MFT. State Licensing Board Rule 135- 9 and 135-5-.02
Board Approved Credential Training Provider, (CTP) for the CPCS Certification
A. To apply for the CTP a trainer must provide the following:
1. LPCA CE number perferred- use the special Trainer CE application with reduced fees
NBCC /ACEP Number or CE Broker Number*
2. Current State of Georgia License #
3. The Trainers bio which must show the Trainer is also a CPCS or ACS
4. If providing any Tele Mental Health (TMH) must provide proof of qualifications
4. The length of time they have been presenting (must be at least five (5) years)
5. The outline of the program / trainings / workshops they are presenting
*No other organization CE number will be accepted. Must comply with Rule 135-9 and 135-5-.02
